Odessa holds BA degrees in Dance and Theater from Rutgers University. Since 2005, she has been performing, choreographing, directing and teaching.
Odessa has performed for choreographers Liz Lerman (guest artist), Bianca Cabrera (Blind Tiger Society), Isabel Gotzkowsky, Rosemary Hannon, Isabel Lewis and Meagan Woods. As a choreographer and director, she founded and directed Insurgo Stage Project (2008-2013), and has presented work at various venues in NYC and NJ, at Motion Pacific in Santa Cruz, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She has collaborated with several video artists, including Daniel Mollner, Ari Makridakis (Liminus) and Anthony Sirios West.
As a professional dancer and performer from the modern and contact improv lineages, Odessa combines this experience with her energy healing background to offer a hybridized model for energetic attunement and deeper embodiment in her class offerings. She provides unique tools for learning how to trust and listen more deeply to our bodies, and evolve our consciousness through the embodiment of our experiences. She has been leading workshops, classes, and company residencies since 2008, and has appeared at micro festivals, Burning Man, Dance Camp New England, and Enchanted Forest Gathering. She currently teaches Contact Improv in Nevada City and the Bay Area.
Odessa has offered classes and workshops at the following festivals and venues:

- DNE Dance Camp (Dance New England)
